DUBAI — Dubai Airports has deployed an AI-driven computer vision network across 140 wide-body aircraft stands at Dubai International (DXB) to optimize ground turnaround predictability.

The system utilizes edge-processed video telemetry to autonomously timestamp 24 critical turnaround events, including jet bridge docking, baggage unloading, fueling hookup, catering access, and ground power disconnection. The automated data streams feed directly into DXB's Airport Operations Center (APOC) and Emirates operations dispatch.

Initial findings demonstrate an average 3.8-minute reduction in off-block delays across long-haul flight departures.
